S.T.E.A.M stands for (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) and it is a discipline that integrates all these areas of knowledge in an integrated way in students’ learning. At Everest Kinder we have gone one step further and we have added the environmental part, so that these learnings are done in a differentiated environment, appropriate to the age of our students, and integrated with nature.
In S.T.E.A.M Green Explorers our students are exposed to different scenarios and experiments in a spontaneous and natural way, interacting with nature, whether in our greenhouse or with our animals, and developing the sensory capacity and imagination for use in artistic productions . They learn in a playful and practical way how food is produced, the water cycle, the concept of recycling, and the care of plants and animals.
We cultivate in our students the concept that nature is God’s gift to us and that we are all responsible for it. It is from the nature that is well cultivated and treated that we take our food and other resources to produce and grow as human beings. We must love, care and share!
