Psychomotricity

The psychomotricity classes are elaborated with special activities that strengthen and develop the motor and cognitive abilities of the students. This will not only allow them to coordinate their body but will be the basis for great learning and development throughout their school life.

Psychomotor skills classes allow the student to:

  • Know themselves and gain security and confidence.
  • Gain a good posture and master the movement of their body.
  • Strengthen their senses to increase coordination and balance.
  • Interact with others through recreation games.
  • Favor their cognitive and affective abilities.

In the video below a preschool academic consultant explains what psychomotricity is, why it is essential for integral development, and why in our preschools it is taught as a curricular class.
