During Kinder 1, verbal and gestural communication, as well as motor coordination, are stimulated. Our students initiate differentiation of visual and auditory perception. We develop the learning process, through storytelling and the expression of feelings from the situations experienced in their daily routine. The acquisition of good habits and social interaction improves synergy, care, and respect between friends and adults.
Thus, through art, playtime, and music, we provide the integral development of our students in Kindergarten 1.
In Kinder 2, we encourage our students to recognize joy as a virtue from the situations they experience daily and in Catholic formation classes during prayers, songs, circle time, or in activities that are part of our routine.
Every day, we enjoy a playful environment, and we put ourselves as guides/models of experiences to provide learning experiences. In this way, we develop our students orally as well as their independence, showing them that they are capable of accomplishing for themselves and others.
We encourage a connection with the English language, stimulating curiosity about names, objects, shapes, animals, people, phonemes and other various peculiarities the language possesses.
The literate world is revealed in a playfully and appealing way, and it also helps promote social interaction. In this way, we help to form happy, autonomous, safe, and fully capable children with positive leadership.
In Kinder 3, we aim to raise awareness of a healthy and respectful relationship with colleagues. Socialization is stimulated in our formal education and complemented in our disciplines of virtue and Catholic formation. Playfully and appropriately for each age group, we provide the recognition of the letters and their specific sounds. From the knowledge of the alphabet and the association of the sounds of each letter, we promote awareness of the relationship between letters and words. Apps, music, and gaming are some of the tools used in our differentiated learning centers. Numerical sense, counting, and grouping are also explored in Kinder. Geometric shapes, as well as some mathematical concepts are daily incorporated into our daily routine.
In Kinder 4, it is developed throughout the year writing and autonomy of each student in our integral method.
Writing and the recognition of the phonemes are presented playfully and effectively. One of the learning processes is by using the Jolly Phonics application, that helps develop English learning through songs.
Our integral formation process develops many skills. One of the skills developed in the students is the acceptance of their differences physically, socially, and culturally, this recognition will stimulate them to know themselves and build their self-esteem.
We use psychomotor and sensory patterns to perform individual and group games, express basic needs for health, well-being, playtime interaction, and humor. Gradually, our students internalize the norms of relationship and behavior based on equality and respect. They practice the virtue of order as a way of thanking God and imitating Jesus. We help them develop communication to regulate conduct in different kinds of interaction with others. Our students are stimulated systematically by analyzing the problems that arise and proposing strategies to solve them.
In Kinder 5, the literacy process is continued. The phonological awareness is elaborated, immersing each student in a bilingual, creative, and dynamic environment. The oral and written development is encouraged by becoming the leading role of the linguistic system. Students discover the fact that they are embedded in the literate world, as well as the importance of being critical thinkers and participant subjects in the society. We are always working the integral formation of our students since the first years of their childhood by empowering them to become leaders of positive actions in the world.
The goal of the Everest Extracurricular Program is to offer qualified and diversified activities in an environment that allows students to develop in all their intellectual, sporting, artistic, and social capacities.
The activities complement and enrich the academic experience and favor the formation process, increasing the self-esteem and promoting the socialization and the integration of the students.
While dancing, fighting, drawing, playing or exercising in various ways, human and Christian values, such as respect, cooperation, citizenship, sportsmanship, dedication, and responsibility, are practiced daily in our activities.
It is true that children adapt to everything; however, not always this adaptation happens without trauma. Each college works differently, and many preschoolers are not up to date with best educational practices. Some may even give love and care, but today’s children need more than that.
One of the great advantages of your child studying in our preschool is the continuity of teaching. A bilingual education, based on competence and that has a natural transition to our fundamental education, giving continuity to the same pedagogical model, which helps students to develop in a continuous and integrated form from preschool to university.
